Searching for family of Dianne Lee Small. She was the daughter of Roscoe D. & Oma (Schirtzinger) Small and was born about July 1952 in the Newark, Ohio area. Roscoe was killed in Korea in 1953 when Dianne was about 10 months old. Please contact me if you have any information on this family.

Clifford James Amick, age 74, of Elmwood, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Red Cedar Medical Center in Menomonie. 

He was born April 14, 1934 in Menomonie WI to Clyde and Ruth (O’Bryan) Amick . He served in the United States Army.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2008 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI with Rev. John Beery officiating. Friends and family are welcome at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Irvine Creek Cemetery in the town of Menomonie, Dunn County.

Mrs. Ruth E. Small, 62, died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at her home on Route 1, east of Mount Vernon.

She was a life-long resident here and attended the First Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Bennie T. Small; two sons, Eugene of Hawthorne, Calif., and Harold Wayne of Newark; 11 grandchildren; and her father, Clyde Rockwell of Mount Vernon.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flowers Funeral Home, where the funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Rodger Sillars officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Estella Ethel Rockwell, 61, Beech street, died at 10 a.m. today in Mercy hospital after an illness of one year.

She leaves her husband, Clyde; one daughter, Ruth, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Wade Bennett of Long Beach, Cal., Mrs. Sherman Ackerman of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. Earl McCurdy of Toledo, and Mrs. John Coile of Mount Vernon; one brother, Chester Hanger of Mount Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Milelr & O'Bryan funeral parlors with the Rev. H. C. Mayhew officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral parlors after noon Tuesday.

Apparently Margaret was born in Ireland and died from eating "poisoned fish". Records indicate Margaret and her husband, Thomas, are buried in the same plot. However, a stone for Thomas does not exist.
