1.       Benjamin T. Small was born about 1899 in Parkersburg, WV. He married Ruth E. Rockwell, daughter of Clyde George Rockwell and Estella Ethel Hanger. She was born in Nov 1899. She died on 29 May 1962 in Mount Vernon, Knox Co., OH.

Children of Benjamin T. Small and Ruth E. Rockwell are:

i.        Harold Wayne Small, B: 08 Jul 1924 in OH, D: 27 Jun 1989 in Newark, Licking Co., OH.

Mrs. Ruth E. Small, 62, died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at her home on Route 1, east of Mount Vernon.

She was a life-long resident here and attended the First Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Bennie T. Small; two sons, Eugene of Hawthorne, Calif., and Harold Wayne of Newark; 11 grandchildren; and her father, Clyde Rockwell of Mount Vernon.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flowers Funeral Home, where the funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Rodger Sillars officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Estella Ethel Rockwell, 61, Beech street, died at 10 a.m. today in Mercy hospital after an illness of one year.

She leaves her husband, Clyde; one daughter, Ruth, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Wade Bennett of Long Beach, Cal., Mrs. Sherman Ackerman of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. Earl McCurdy of Toledo, and Mrs. John Coile of Mount Vernon; one brother, Chester Hanger of Mount Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Milelr & O'Bryan funeral parlors with the Rev. H. C. Mayhew officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral parlors after noon Tuesday.

Apparently Margaret was born in Ireland and died from eating "poisoned fish". Records indicate Margaret and her husband, Thomas, are buried in the same plot. However, a stone for Thomas does not exist.
