The US Federal Census in 1930 shows Clyde and Stella living in Morris Township, Knox County, Ohio. Clyde’s father, John, is also living with them.
What happened to Clyde and Estella’s daughter, Rutha? Did she pass away between 1910 and 1920? Did she marry and leave Knox County? We have found no trace of her in the 1920 and 1930 census records in Knox County.

Clyde Rockwell, 92, died Monday at 7:30 a.m. in the Knox County Home after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Knox County.
Mr. Rockwell is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Flora of Lima, and two brothers, John of North Manchester, Ind., and Sharon of Grand Blanc, Mich.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Rodger Sillars officiating. Flowers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

FRANCIS ROBERT FLORA
Francis Robert Flora, 83, Ottawa, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at Overland Park Regional Hospital in Overland Park. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. He was born July 9, 1926, in Menomonie, Wis., to Noah Henry Flora and Mary (Rockwell) Flora.
He lived a majority of his life in the Ottawa area.
He was employed at Buildex, owned his own floor covering service and also worked five or six years for Crooks Floor coverings and 11 years for Nitcher Floor Service.
Later, he and his wife worked for the Corps of Engineers as gate attendants and camp ground managers, the first year at Kanapolis Lake and then nine years at Pomme de Terre in Missouri, retiring in 1997.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed reading and watching the “Duke”, John Wayne. He was an avid collector of Indian trinkets.
He married Betty Pauline Jones July 15, 1944, at Menomonie, Wis. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include five daughters, Wanda Crooks and her husband, Dick, Ottawa, Carol Beckner and her husband, Ken, Belen, N.M., Betty Archer and her husband, Wayne, Ottawa, Marg Dunkin and her husband, Dale, Ottawa, Kathy Miller and her husband Calvin, Ottawa; a son, David Flora and his wife, Joanna, Ottawa; two brothers, Kenneth Flora, Covington, Ohio, and Robert Flora, Pleasant Hill, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Elizabeth and Noah Henry Flora; a daughter, Mary Frances Flora; four brothers, Harvey, Earl, Donald and Carl Flora; a sister, Hazel Flora; and a grandson, Darrin Crooks.
Inurnment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

MRS. JAMES W. LAHMON
Mrs. Nellie M. Lahmon, 74, widow of James W. Lahmon, resident of 136 W. Orchard St., admitted to Newark Hospital Aug. 12, died there at 7:25 p.m. Thursday. She had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill more than two weeks.
Mrs. Lahmon, a retired practical nurse, came to Newark 10 years ago from Utica. She was the daughter of John and Mary (Smith) Rockwell, born July 10, 1884 in Knox County.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1935, and she leaves a son Earl Lahmon of Maple City, Mich.; also five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Flora of Lima; four brothers, Clyde and Robert Rockwell of Mt. Vernon, Sharon Rockwell of Flint, Mich., and John Rockwell of Ft. Wayne, Ind. A sister, Mrs. Hattie Beckholt is deceased. Mrs. Lahmon was a member of the Christian Church of Utica.
The body is at Criss Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph A. Garshaw will officiate at services there at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Brandon. Friends May call at the funeral home.

JAMES LAHMON DIES IN UTICA
Long Illness Brings Death at His Home This Morning
Utica, Dec. 3. - James Lahmon died at 5:13 this morning in his home in North Central avenue, following a long illness. Death was due to complications of diseases. Mr. Lahmon, a resident of Utica for a number of years, was employed as chauffeur for the late Dr. A. E. Smith. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nellie Lahmon; a son Earl of Detroit and several brothers, one of whom is Hugh Lahmon of near Utica. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in charge of Rev. C. C. Smith. Burial is in Fairview cemetery by the C. C. Law company
